On November 30, 2007, from Bolivar Avenue in Caracas, Commander Hugo Chávez warned the oligarchy of the consequences of repeating fascist and violent plans such as those executed in April 2002, when they massacred the people and tried to put an end to the Bolivarian Revolution.

“The Revolution, as the great philosopher Spinoza says, at one moment converted its potential into power; at one moment the revolutionary potential that slept under the mountains, that slept between these cities, in those valleys, in those mountains, in those fields, revolutionary potential began to be converted into power by assuming the government of the Republic,” said the Supreme Leader of the Revolution.

He recalled that the oligarchy made a mistake “on April 11 and around here they ran like rats, like souls carried by the devil, when the people took to the streets to defend the Bolivarian Revolution. Make no mistake Pitiyanquis, make no mistake because it would be worse for you, I am only doing my best to warn you. I, you know, we play fair, we always don't just say it, we've demonstrated it,” he said.
