Chávez Undefeated: We must be aware of the paramilitary effort against the country

Commander Hugo Chávez assured that paramilitary actions will not be allowed in Venezuela.

“We have to be aware of the paramilitary effort, eh? with their own army, of imported paramilitaries, of violent ones, they are not going to succeed, we are going to prevent it with all the rules of the law, hey, but I am only warning them, so that everyone can assume their responsibility and open their eyes, this is what it is intended,” said Chávez on June 14, 2009 from the state of Táchira.

He urged revolutionaries not to fall into provocations by the actions of the extreme right.

“Let's not fall into provocations, but from time to time it's good to respond, now let's respond as you know, with work, with national will, with the fight against mafias, drug trafficking, paramilitaries; that is the task and together with the people to build the Socialist Revolution,” he emphasized.
