At the historic closing of the campaign on October 4, 2012 on Bolivar Avenue in Caracas, the Supreme Leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Commander Hugo Chávez, urged patriotic forces to go out en masse and vote for the socialist project to guarantee the construction of the Homeland.

“This Bolivarian avalanche, which has been sweeping the country in recent weeks, in recent days, we now have to turn it into an avalanche of votes next Sunday. Let us not have a single patriotic vote left out. Everyone, let's vote for Chávez! Everyone should get up very early and vote very early so that by noon Chávez's victory will be unquestionable,” said the Commander before that crowd.

He noted that “thanks to God and to the heroic people of Bolivar, Venezuela rose from the dead and today Live the Homeland, the Young Girl Homeland, the Young Boy Homeland, and for nothing in the world are we going to allow them to liquidate Venezuela again.”
