Chávez undefeated: Let's turn the PSUV into the best fruit of the Bolivarian Revolution

From Maracaibo, Zulia state, Commander Hugo Chávez called for turning the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) into the best fruit of the Bolivarian Revolution and the ultimate guarantee of its historical continuity, as the Cuban leader Fidel Castro said.

“That's what the United Socialist Party of Venezuela was born for! Be proud of what you have done, of the historic day that you have led with a lot of discipline, with hard work, intense, with determination, with revolutionary perseverance,” he said on March 2, 2008.

In this regard, he explained that the Party is also called to lead movements of movements and parties in Latin America, in the Caribbean, “to unify the Latin American left, to unify the popular movements of Latin America, to promote transformative governments in Latin America”.
