Commander Hugo Chávez described the Battle of Victory on February 12, 1814 as a heroic example of the patriotic youth of the time.


“A heroic battle, the sacrifice of youth that day in these Valleys of Aragua,” emphasized Chávez from the state of Aragua on February 12, 2012.


He urged the Golden Generation to continue building the socialist homeland with the heart and with the conviction that Venezuela is free and independent.
