Chávez Undefeated: A Revolutionary Must Be a Feminist

Commander Hugo Chávez, during a campaign event in Caracas, highlighted the importance of women in the Bolivarian Revolution.

“I know on this difficult path that we have been following, treading and opening up, building up, how much contribution Venezuelan women have made; for decades, then. Well, it's always been, except that historiography is how the world has been, sexist. That's why I say, a true revolutionary, Socialist, must be truly feminist,” she pointed out on September 12, 2012 from the Teresa Carreño Theater.

In this regard, she invited to follow the women of the Fatherland to defend the country's sovereignty.
