The Eternal Commander Hugo Chávez asked the revolutionary people to prevent the bourgeoisie that destroyed the country from reoccupying spaces of power.

During the Aló Presidente # 314, from the Miraflores Palace, on July 20, 2008, he emphasized that it is a matter of preventing the homelands, that the Venezuelan oligarchy, which governed our country and destroyed it for the almost complete 100 years of the 20th century, and who left Venezuela in pieces, on the ground, from reoccupying spaces of power.

“From that opposition, which is vendetour, you can't save a single party, you can't save a party where you can say: “Hey, these people are nationalists.” No, no, no! They are the homelands, they destroy their homeland*, he asserted.

He recalled that in the Fourth Republic, in Venezuela there was a figure of president because the oligarchy ruled, the owners of capital, they appointed ministers.

“In the Punto Fijo Pact they were distributed; if the adecos won, they already had an agreement to share the cake with the Copeyans, if the Copeyans won the elections they would distribute the cake with the adecos, so everyone would share the feast, from time to time they would give the left a niece, so that they would have some so-called leaders of the left happy and the people there moaning in pain, hunger and misery,” he added.
