On February 15, 2012, the Leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Hugo Chávez Frías, reaffirmed to the opposition that “they will never be a government again in this country, more ever, it has no morals, there is no way to be a government in Venezuela (...) they don't have and will not do it”.

In that sense, from Ciudad Bolívar, he questioned the sectors of the right that were unaware of State institutions. “How are we going to be inciting people to burn down and ignore institutions? How is that boy? In other words, are we going to play a political game, a democratic one or what? And it's very dangerous, you know, it's very dangerous, because that is precisely encouraging fascism, those who talk about democracy and those who often accuse us of being fascists or dictators or tyrants,” he said.

“I think that the bourgeoisie really should, but really, not to mask itself; the bourgeoisie in Venezuela should join Chavista, I invite them, but not to put on a mask; no, no, really really. Because Chavism in Venezuela guarantees stability, peace; now, tomorrow and forever. Peace, stability,” he said.
