From Naiguatá, La Guaira state, on May 29, 2007, Eternal Commander Hugo Chávez asked revolutionaries not to belittle their adversary.

“Let's not belittle the adversary, that would be a serious mistake, they have decided to come with everything,” said the Commander, while urging them to be alert to defend the Revolution from a new fascist onslaught.

In that regard, he insisted that the State and the People cannot accept that under their own noses they are calling to ignore the laws, to the authorities, even more serious, to kill a President of the Republic to create chaos in the country.

“This cannot be allowed, the State, the institutions are obliged to act and for everyone to assume their responsibilities,” he said.

He also called on fathers and mothers to be very alert, because young people are being manipulated by extremist sectors, “these boys are being used as cannon fodder... What they want is for them to be dead, that's what they're looking for,” he said.
