Chávez on the opposition: They never agree, they are more divided than ever

The Eternal Commander Hugo Chávez, during the Hello President #345, assured that the enemy, “the counterrevolution”, does everything, he makes traps, plans, “we are managing it and we are going to come out stronger”.

From the Maracay Hotel in Aragua state, on December 6, 2009, he asserted that in the opposition they never agree, they are more divided than ever, “and like crazy some”.

“The counterrevolution is trying to generate a bank run, a real crisis, to generate fear,” he reiterated.

He said that a powerful vanguard must emerge from the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV). “That there is a broken bat out there, most of us must be able to detect the bat-parties, the infiltrators, those who don't have well-established values, truly revolutionary,” he said.

In that regard, he emphasized that we must denounce them and face them with the truth and quoted a phrase from the Cuban commander Fidel Castro: “There is nothing more convincing than a reasoned truth, reasoned truths.”

“The party must be the bearer of the truth, but the bearer of the reasons that support the truth, with that lies are pulverized; and our enemy is pure lies, they live on lies,” he insisted.
