Chávez Líder: The defense of the country is the responsibility of all of us

From the Municipal Theater of Caracas, on February 11, 2010, Commander Hugo Chávez urged the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) to assume the vanguard of the defense of the Homeland together with the People.

“The defense of the country is the responsibility of all of us, the United Socialist Party must assume together with the people as the vanguard of the people also that task, national defense, preparation for national defense, for the defense of our territory, for the defense of our Constitution, of external conspiracies, of internal conspiracies and of all threats,” said the Supreme Leader of the Bolivarian Revolution.

He stressed that the threats will always be there because “it's about Venezuela in the first place. Those of us who live on love out of love and for love for others, for peoples, for humanity, Homeland is humanity, said Martí”.
