The leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Hugo Chávez, assured that Venezuela's democracy is in the Communes, the People's Power.


In this regard, during an activity that took place at the Teresa Carreño Theater on June 9, 2010, Chávez emphasized that communes were born to create the Communal State.


In this regard, he called for empowering the People to contribute to the economic development of the nation.
