On March 13, 2011, the Undefeated Commander, Hugo Chávez Frías, emphasized that the communication issue was vital for the Bolivarian Revolution to combat lies imposed by sectors of the Venezuelan extreme right.

“The issue of social communication that is vital for the Revolution (...) because one thing is what happens in the territory of truth, in real territory, in the real world and another thing is what is coming out there, on television, on radio, in newspapers, in most of them,” he said, stressing that the media apparatus of the right wing bombs Venezuela every day.

In this sense, during his Aló Presidente No. 371 from the state of Zulia, he emphasized that the communication issue should be a matter for everyone, ministers, mayors, governors, etc.

“Motivation to know, to study, so that we are not deceived. The battle for the mind in the high school is the same thing, there between the residents of the Community Councils (...) here it is valid even with the old multigraph, it is valid until you write by hand, by hand and stick with a bed bug in a corner the street sign, the hot corner ¡Ras! Find out, Chávez came and approved so many bolivars for the next work, one, two, three, four, so that we can follow up, too. We have to report everywhere, everyone,” he said.
