On November 30, 2007, from Bolívar Avenue in Caracas, Commander Hugo Chávez reiterated his commitment to the Venezuelan people not to rest until they achieved freedom.
“All that's left of my life I'm going to dedicate to fulfilling the mandate of the Venezuelan people (...) It's the will of the people that I'm going to fulfill, it's not the will of four Piti Yanks nor is it the will of any emperor or king in the world, I will follow to the letter the instructions and orders given to me by the only sovereign I recognize in this land, who is none other than the People of Bolivar, the heroic people of Venezuela,” he said.
The leader stressed that he would not rest, “unless you want it that way tomorrow or the day after tomorrow (...) we are not afraid of you, we are not afraid of you... Make no mistake about filthy oligarchs, don't make mistakes with us once again!” , added the Commander.
In that sense, he assured that the people's expressions of love “are a profound reality, and what can I tell them, one could say a common place, I could say, well, I love them too, it's an infinite love; that is, it's a love, as the song says: It's more than frenzy love”.
