The Eternal Commander Hugo Chávez congratulated and recognized the efforts of the workers to emerge victorious in every battle.
“I want to congratulate and recognize the efforts of the thousands of workers for having resisted, counterattacked, recovered and triumphed,” said Chávez on February 9, 2003, from the Miraflores Palace, during the Aló Presidente # 138.
He also said that we must recognize that we have faced a deadly conspiracy, “unemployment, blockade of the sources of production, the supply of food and fuel”.
“Congratulations to the winners of Venezuela, to the technicians, managers, soldiers, commanders, generals and admirals,” he said.
Chávez assured that they (the bourgeoisie) did not have the capacity to respond of the Venezuelan people, the patriots of Venezuela and the Bolivarian National Armed Forces.
“They thought that Chávez couldn't stand the strike, but they're still wrong because it's not Chávez, they personalize something that's not customizable, this isn't a man, here what there is is a people with dignity, here what there is is is a collective fighting a battle,” he added.
