Chávez anecdotal: That happens only to Chávez

With that humor and masterful way of reaching the people, on August 3, 2008, during the 316th President's Office, from the state of Bolivar, the Supreme Leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Commander Hugo Chávez, told an anecdote about when he had “diarrhea” in the middle of a national radio and television channel.

“And you know the worst thing, that no one knew at the time, now I say it and laugh, I was having cramps, my friend, that is, I had diarrhea. I am a human being like any of you, sometimes people forget that. I get on the machine and I start to sweat cold,” recalled the Commander laughing.

Although with many difficulties along the way, the story had a happy ending, Chávez was able to get to a bathroom and get some relief. “I arrived: ahhhh, salvation. Then I said: this happens only to Chávez, to no one else in this world,” he recalled.
