The Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yván Gil, recalled this Sunday the 40th anniversary of the planting of “El Cantor del Pueblo”, Ali Primera, a revolutionary leader whose music still inspires the struggles of the Peoples.
“We pay tribute to the voice that gave visibility to an entire people, resonating in the hearts of millions,” said the Venezuelan diplomat on his social networks.
Gil stressed that Ali's music, “full of poetry and a deep love for the country and social justice, continues to be a source of inspiration for the revolutionary struggles of our people. Always anti-imperialist and great, that's how we remember you, Ali!”
