The Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, commemorated this Wednesday the International Day of Multilateralism and Diplomacy for Peace, highlighting this as the only path to a world of equality.
Through his account on the social network X, the Venezuelan Foreign Minister stressed that “humanity can no longer tolerate the dictatorship imposed by the United States”, which seeks to impose its interests above international law.
“Multipolarity is presented as the only viable alternative to achieve a more equitable world, based on mutual respect, inclusion and solidarity, with the objective of jointly addressing the political and economic challenges facing our societies,” said Gil.
April 24 marks the International Day of Multilateralism and Diplomacy for Peace, a date established by the UN General Assembly in its resolution A/73/L48. It was held for the first time in 2019.
This date seeks to motivate countries to continue collaborating for common issues, to reach agreements and negotiations, which are of mutual benefit to all. As envisaged in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
