The Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, celebrated this Friday the 213th anniversary of Venezuelan Independence Day, ratifying the anti-imperialist nature of the Homeland of the Liberator Simon Bolivar and Commander Hugo Chávez.
“This July 5th, we commemorate Venezuela's Independence Day, proudly waving the flags of anti-imperialism. It was on this date, in 1811, when our country freed itself from the Spanish colonial yoke,” recalled the Venezuelan Foreign Minister through his account on the social network X.
He noted that, since then, “our people have kept this struggle alive, culminating in the Bolivarian Revolution. Sovereign and socialist Venezuela!”
