The Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs , Yván Gil, participated this Wednesday in the meetings of foreign ministers of the Movement of Non-Aligned Countries (MNOAL) in Kampala, the capital of Uganda, where he highlighted the promotion and strengthening of Bolivarian Peace Diplomacy, on behalf of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

“In the midst of an imperialist crisis and the rise of fascism on the part of Western powers and their allies, it is imperative to unite, to dialogue and to move towards a future of peace and justice,” said Gil, at the preparatory event for the XIX Summit of Heads of State and Government

Faced with the 120 countries that make up the MNOAL, Gil advocated addressing the fundamental principles of defending sovereignty, anti-colonialist and anti-imperialist.

“Today in such a complicated world, we are looking at Palestine, how imperialism promotes wars. It is very important that the MNOAL be activated and that is precisely what we are doing here, against unilateral coercive measures, as this movement has already stated, defending Venezuela, and we are going to be engaged in various activities,” Gil emphasized.

It is expected that the Venezuelan diplomatic delegation, after the MENOAL summit, will participate in the G77+China Summit, which hands over its presidency to the Republic of Cuba, and we will accompany these debates representing the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, bringing the message of President Nicolás Maduro and the Bolivarian Diplomacy of Peace,” said the Venezuelan Foreign Minister.
