The Rómulo Gallegos Center for Latin American Studies (CELARG) opened pre-registrations for the third cohort of the doctorate and master's degree in Our American Studies, a process that will remain available until November 15, 2026.
According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, the fourth-level programs will address areas such as culture, society, thought, politics and history, with an emphasis on studying the realities of Latin America and the Caribbean from a liberating and decolonizing perspective.
The academic proposal is aimed at training researchers, teachers and professionals capable of analyzing the socio-political and cultural dynamics of the region.
In addition, the Academic Committee will evaluate applications taking into account experience, academic merits and the quality of the preliminary research project.
Entry requirements include having a university degree and submitting a draft related to Latin American and Caribbean studies. For those aspiring to the doctorate without a master's degree, their professional achievements and abilities to carry out doctoral-level research will be especially considered.
The academic activities will be carried out under a multimodal modality, which will combine face-to-face and virtual meetings.
