The Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yván
Gil, recalled this Monday that the Community of Latin American and
Caribbean States (CELAC) will hold a Presidential Summit, from April 7 to 9, in
Honduras, to discuss regional and global issues.
During his participation in the multiplatform program Cable
to Earth, broadcast on VTV Radio, Gil stressed that at this important meeting,
“from the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - Peoples'
Trade Agreement (ALBA - TCP) we will defend the rights of migrants
and we will try to establish a regional development route to face
the actions of the globalization crisis”.
He stressed that Venezuela has projects that will annul the
onslaught of the hegemonic crisis caused by the United States (USA) and its
allies and that “it has left wounds in the international system.”
The CELAC regional forum, together with China and Russia, raises the
flag of the doctrine of Bolivarianism: “We have the key and a
great weight for the situation the world is entering and we are sure that
from the position of ALBA-TCP and Venezuela we are working to rescue the
multicentric world,” said the diplomat.
