The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, during the usual red awning press conference, assured that Elon Musk is an instrument of imperialism to do harm.

Cabello's comment follows recent statements by the president of Brazil, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, who indicated that the owner of the social network X must respect the decision of the Supreme Court of Justice regarding the presidential elections in Venezuela.

In that sense, he indicated that Musk is “a criminal, a guy who uses his power, especially economic power, to do harm anywhere; an instrument of imperialism, a guy who is addicted to serious drugs, not for now, but for a lifetime, confessed by himself (...) who believes he can change presidents in the world. Imperialism in action, the instruments that imperialism uses, before it used the army, still uses them; it is the army of information or counterinformation. They generate matrices that make absolutely uncertain things true”.
