Caryslia Rodríguez: By 2024, the Supreme Court expects to increase the number of court seats in the country

Among the goals set by the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) for 2024 is to increase the number of seats for the operation of the country's different courts, said the president of the country's highest court, Judge Caryslia Beatriz Rodríguez.

During the presentation of a management balance sheet during the beginning of the judicial year 2024, the legal professional pointed out that another goal for this period is the increase in sentences, in accordance with the demand of the justice system.

“This year 2024 plans us to make progress in the consolidation of peace justice and communal jurisdiction,” he said, while recognizing the work being carried out by the different commissions that the Supreme Court has to contribute to the improvement of the justice system in the country.

In the same way, Rodríguez asserted that the Supreme Court will continue to take measures to face the challenges presented to the country to address and address them.

“We are categorically opposed to any form of violence or destabilization that threatens national sovereignty. The Judiciary has presented itself as one of the fundamental pillars on which the stability and harmony of our society is sustained,” he stressed while stating that the Judiciary will continue to strive to be more efficient in each of the functions and decisions they must make.
