In the museum in honor of José Gregorio Hernández, located in La Pastora, Caracas, there is great spiritual peace, because in this space many parishioners attend to pray and ask the “doctor of the poor”.

This was stated by the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Melendez, who indicated that this space, dedicated to the life of the first Venezuelan saint, has begun to be filled with plaques and expressions of gratitude from those who have been favored by José Gregorio Hernández.

In this regard, the burgomaster pointed out that in this museum people, in addition to going to pray, can learn more about the life of this exemplary doctor.

“That is a place of peace, it is a place of encounter where José Gregorio unites us, where we all pray to do good without looking at whom,” he emphasized.
