Carmen Meléndez: The 4F marked a before and after in our history

The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, paid tribute to the courageous men of February 4, 1992 who, under the command of Commander Hugo Chávez, made history in favor of social justice and against the neoliberal policies of the government of Carlos Andrés Pérez.

“That day marked a before and after in our history, and today we continue to deepen that commitment, that legacy of our eternal leader, together with President Nicolás Maduro Moros, defender of peace and national sovereignty,” Meléndez said through the social network Instagram.

On the other hand, he noted that the team of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) is ready for the Congress of the Red Awning that will begin this Tuesday.

“The Congress that will allow us to continue in the battle of ideas, for a free and sovereign homeland, together with our president Nicolás Maduro,” he said.
