The Bolivarian Government handed over nine completely rehabilitated towers to a total of 403 families in Caracas affected by the double earthquake, said Mayor Carmen Meléndez during an event held in the Omar Torrijos urban planning, as part of the Venezuela Renace Plan.

In that area (Omar Torrijos), Meléndez detailed the delivery of 240 apartments distributed in five intervened towers. “We are celebrating the Venezuela Renace Plan, we are bringing happiness to many families. Delivering, on behalf of President Delcy Rodríguez, 100% rehabilitated buildings, with general waterproofing and eaves,” said Meléndez. He also highlighted the return to their homes of families who remained in solidarity camps during the emergency.

On behalf of the beneficiaries, spokeswoman Dayana thanked the authorities for their support and the recovery of common spaces. “All the spokeswomen are super happy to have an office, the toy library, the film library, the projects, the sports court and the park,” said the resident, inviting the mayor to visit the community.

This Friday, President Delcy Rodríguez delivered a total of 1,81 homes for 3,549 people on this eighth day of the Venezuela Renace Plan, consolidating attention to families who lost their homes.
