On November 26, 1957, the Venezuelan professor, lawyer and politician, Carlos Escarrà, was born in the city of Caracas, a distinguished figure of constitutional law who stood out for his strength, courage and passion for the defense of the revolutionary causes of the people, to whom he always preached his love.

His indomitable nature and his affinity with the humblest led him to become a sympathizer of the Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV) from a very young age, with whom he always carried out various activities, although he never made his membership official.

This constant collaboration with this party and other left-wing movements led him to connect with the Bolivarian Revolutionary Movement 200 (MBR-200) led by Supreme Commander Hugo Chávez, from where he collaborated intensively in the proposal of a constituent to refound the Republic.

After the arrival of the Revolution, he was nominated and elected as Magistrate to the extinct Supreme Court of Justice. After the installation of the nascent Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), he was nominated as vice-prosecutor, where he stands out for his ability and skill in defending the country's interests.

For 2005, he was elected as a deputy to the National Assembly (AN), where his firmness, clear arguments and revolutionary passion stand out, showing the political leader that he had been hidden behind the semblance of a jurist and academic.

After winning re-election in 2010, and in 2011, he was called by Supreme Commander Hugo Chávez, who, knowing his extensive curriculum as a jurist and his absolute loyalty to the Revolution, nominated him as Attorney General of the Republic, to defend Venezuela from the litigation that occurred against the country as a result of the nationalization of the Orinoco Oil Belt and other strategic companies.

After a period of just over five months in which he fought and triumphed in important legal battles that were looming over the country, on January 25, 2012, the physical departure of this distinguished revolutionary whose eloquence and courage are an example for the peoples who build the better world for which Carlos Escarrà fought.
