Caribbean Series champions arrive in Venezuela and join the La Guaira Carnival

The Caribbean Series Champion Team, Tiburones de La Guaira, arrived in Venezuela on a flight from Miami in the United States, through Ramp 4 of Maiquetía International Airport, in the state of La Guaira, where it was received by regional authorities and hundreds of fans of this sport who accompanied him in a caravan to the coastal belt where they will join the celebration of the International Carnivals of La Guaira 2024.

After several awards with the highest awards in the state of La Guaira, as well as tributes to managers, players and workers of the organization that ended Venezuela's title drought at the regional Caribbean baseball event for 15 years, the organizers gave the floor to the regional and local authorities as well as to team managers, managers and players.

Elías Saba, president of the champion organization of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League, reiterated that this achievement in The Caribbean Series is part of a project that aimed to end the 38-year streak without a win in Venezuela and then seek the Caribbean scepter in North American lands.

Meanwhile, Oswaldo Guillén, manager of this team, thanked the players who forged the eighth title for Venezuela in this tournament, as well as those who are absent today for different reasons and have been part of Tiburones de La Guaira.

The governor of La Guaira, José Alejandro Terán, emphasized thanking all those who helped bring this great joy to Venezuelans and announced that the players will be the guests of honor on the stage set up in the Coastal Strip of La Guaira as part of the entity's tourist carnivals.
