Caraqueños celebrated Tourism Day with 6K Ecotourism Walk at La Fuga Bike Park

With the objective of celebrating the International Day of Tourism, La Fuga Bike Park, together with the Municipal Tourism Institute of the Mayor's Office of Caracas, organized the “6k Ecotourism and Peace Walk”, on the mountain bike track that this park has, located at km 7 of the Pan-American Highway, Urbanismo Felipe Acosta.

Eder Blanco, executive director of La Fuga Bike Park, explained that the objective of this activity “is to disconnect from the city and connect with nature, celebrating the International Day of Tourism, where participants were able to enjoy all the trails and an explanation in each of the spaces that we built ourselves here at La Fuga”.

Blanco invited all Caracas residents to continue visiting the spaces since this is the first of many similar days planned to take place. “La Fuga Bike Park has a gaming area, bike rental, bathrooms, podcast room, cafeteria, parking, conference and training room,” he said.

Eliud Baudin, General Director of La Fuga, said that the objective is “to show how beautiful is being done in Venezuela with sports, recreation and above all with the care of the environment, to preserve these spaces that we have, 256 hectares of green areas”.
