CARACAS/Cabello to the militancy: We will comply with the three lines Convince, Motivate and Organize

This Wednesday, June 26, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, highlighted that in the face of the elections of July 28, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, has given three lines that militancy must follow in order to build the victory of the Revolution.

“Fellow brother President Nicolás Maduro has given us three lines: Convince to Win, Motivate to Succeed and Organize to Vote,” said Cabello, stressing that the PSUV, the Great Patriotic Pole and Social Movements are doing their best to consolidate the revolutionary victory.

In that regard, with regard to the first line, he emphasized that revolutionaries have the arguments to convince. “The People themselves have given them to us face and voice, while the pandemic was here and President Nicolás Maduro was standing up and taking the lead in a great battle, the opposition was asking for sanctions (...) that's a truth and it's an argument, the arguments must be charged with truth,” he said.

He also stressed that motivation plays a fundamental role, “and that has to do with morality (...) when a group is motivated and has a very high morale, victory is almost guaranteed, because people have the motivation to work, to face any obstacles and to overcome them.”

He specified that the motivation of revolutionaries comes from their capacity for conscience, “developed and exalted by a People”. At the same time, he indicated that in this phase the militancy is working to search for those sectors that for some reason are demotivated.

“We have to knock on his doors and remind him of where we came from, remember what things were like here 25 years ago and those who want to restore that model of privatization (...) in the meantime here in Venezuela, blocked and threatened on several fronts, the national government has a coherent policy that has been growing for three straight quarters,” he said.

Regarding the organization to vote, he specified that it is the work being done by the PSUV and the parties of the Great Patriotic Pole with all the machinery so that the people can exercise their right in favor of the country's candidate, Nicolás Maduro, on July 28.
