The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, said that this Tuesday, April 30, will mark five years since the “fight” that the People threw together with the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) against the leaders of opposition extremism who tried to carry out a coup d'etat.

“They had to leave with their tails between their legs, as they always did,” he recalled and pointed out that it's been five years since that coup d'etat, five years they took La Carlota, according to them, five that they stopped at the Altamira Distributor.”

He stressed that on April 30, 2019, when Venezuela was the victim of a new coup attempt, “there we were and we began to see people coming from below, from above, from the north, the south, from everywhere people came to look after the Palace (of Miraflores)”

The approach was made in the parish of La Pastora, in Caracas, where the community mobilized to demand that the United States lift illegal sanctions and to express its support for the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.
