Caracas Metro workers held a special day for the sale of the Unified Electronic Travel System (SUVE) card, for the student community from the Bolivarian University of Venezuela (UBV), in connection with the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year.
This was reported by the Minister of Popular Power for Transportation, Ramón Velázquez Araguayán, through his social networks, where he stressed that more than 515,000 copies were distributed.
The SUVE card (blue color) was created for students of different educational levels. With this card you will have a 50 percent discount on the cost of the ticket.
On the other hand, Velázquez Araguayán, reported on the addition of repowered train number 10 this week. “In order to reduce waiting times for users,” he said.
“In addition to this mechanism, the rehabilitation plan for railway facilities is linked,” added Velázquez Araguayán.
