Caracas Metro announces Special Maintenance Plan during Holy Week

Through a statement, the Caracas Metro informs the community that from March 26 to 31, 2024, the Special Maintenance Plan will be implemented in the Caracas Metro, in order to minimize the inconvenience of users during the rehabilitation work.
In this regard, the working class of the Caracas Metro began work with the change of rails in the sections of the Colegio de Ingenieros - Bellas Artes, Palo Verde - Petare, and Petare - La California stations, so a Temporary Single Route will be activated to facilitate the transportation of passengers during their journey on Line 1.
In addition, comprehensive maintenance work will be carried out on more than 29 trains on Lines 1, 2 and 3, as well as signalling and piloting tasks, including preventive maintenance in train control rooms, with the objective of strengthening safety at Pérez Bonalde, La Hoyada, Plaza Venezuela, Chacaíto, Sabana Grande, Los Dos Caminos, and Palo Verde stations.
In the same way, preventive maintenance will be carried out at the Chacaíto and Venezuela 1 Substation, the inspection of the drainage and drainage pumps along Lines 1, 2 and 3, waste collection at 21 stations, in addition to the rehabilitation of the Metrocable San Agustín and Cable Tren Bolivarian systems, with the purpose of strengthening passenger transport.
