Caracas Mayor's Office will provide space for artisans to exhibit and market their works

Next April, a contest will be held with the works of the artisans, Meléndez announced

The Mayor's Office of Caracas will provide a space for artisans and artisans from the capital city to exhibit and market their works, said the mayor of the Libertador municipality, Carmen Meléndez, as part of the Day of the Craftsman and the Artisan Woman.

In his account on the social network X, Meléndez stated that “we celebrate this #19Mar the Day of the Artisan and the Artisan, approved by decree by our President @ NicolasMaduro”.

“In honor of these men and women, whose imagination they turn into art, @AlcaldiaDCcs will now provide them with a decent place to exhibit their works,” he said.

In another message, he announced that on all tourist routes in Caracas “we want to have artisans and artisans exhibiting and marketing their products, and for this reason we will have a contest in the month of April, in which everyone can participate and give their ideas”.

He added that “artisans and artisans are organized Popular Power, and with the Great Mission Viva Venezuela Mi Patria Querida we can give them all the facilities.”

Meléndez commented that in Plaza Bolívar “we have three weeks with the census, appreciating different cultural manifestations.”
