Caracas Mayor's Office reopens Matea de La Vega Black Court

The Bolivarian Government of Caracas handed over the 100% recovered sports court in the Negra Matea sector of La Vega parish, said Mayor Carmen Meléndez, through her account on the social network X.

“We started this Saturday, March 23, together with the Negra Matea community, in La Vega, on this court whose recovery is activating youth, older adults and all the inhabitants, with sports and different activities, in an optimal space,” he wrote.

During the reopening, materials and supplies were also delivered to promote sports in the community, an action that was accompanied by the Ministry for Youth and Sports.

Meléndez added the Amanda de Schnell Early Childhood Education Center, which is also being rehabilitated both in its internal and external areas by the BRICOMILES.
