Caracas Mayor's Office deals with incidents in the face of heavy rains and hurricane winds

Mayor Carmen Meléndez reported that in the face of the intense rainfall and hurricane winds recorded this Thursday, September 24, the teams of the Mayor's Office of Caracas, together with Civil Protection, are deployed to deal with some incidents in various parts of the city.

“Our teams and different vehicles will continue to be on the streets, to respond to reports and any incidents that arise,” he said.

He specified that “some incidents are being addressed with roofs of houses in different areas, due to strong winds”.

“The fall of two trees in the San Bernardino parish has also been addressed, quickly clearing roads to reactivate traffic in the area,” he said.

He explained that in total, there have been four plant species that fell on this day due to the effects of Tropical Wave number 51, and our brigades are attending.
