Caracas Mayor's Office carried out preventive pruning of trees in Plaza de San Martín

The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, carried out a preventive day of cutting and pruning trees in the streets near the market and Plaza San Martín, as well as in the vicinity of the main avenue, with the purpose of ensuring the safety of pedestrians and drivers during the rainy season.
The brigades used basket-type trucks to carry out the work at different heights, which made it possible to service branches that posed a risk to traffic. “These works are carried out daily in the different parishes of Caracas,” said the mayor on her social networks.
Meléndez stressed that maintenance work seeks to reduce risks associated with falling branches during rainfall and improve road conditions for the benefit of the population.
