The Mayor's Office of Caracas is making progress in the rehabilitation of buildings affected after the double earthquake with the support of more than 175 work fronts, said Mayor Carmen Meléndez.
In his account on the social network Instagram, he specified that we started this week's agenda with a working meeting at the Caracas Command Post, evaluating the progress of our 175 fronts of work under the Venezuela Renace Plan.
In this regard, he explained that in the San Bernardino parish, we have 32 active teams: in Sucre 27, on January 23, 18, in San Pedro and Santa Teresa 13, respectively, and so on in each of the territories of Caracas, reconstructing buildings that were affected by the seismic activity of June 24.
“We are finalizing commitments such as the pipes of the Jpauli building, in the parish of Santa Teresa; as well as comprehensive care for the Hand of God sector, in El Paraíso; the construction of a rainwater collection basin in Tazón, Coche parish; the rehabilitation of the San Antonio dome, in El Valle, among other works,” he said.
He said that “we are also working on the last details in the Miravalle and Élite buildings, in San Bernardino, as well as in the Teresa de la Parra schools, in Catedral; Consuelo Fernández in Macarao, and Manuelita Sáenz, in Coche”.
“We are still active in the reconstruction of Caracas, which will always win,” he emphasized.
