“I know that this town will not fail history and we are going to win,” said Maduro at the close of the campaign in Caracas, before a massive rally, ahead of the Presidential Election on July 28, in which he aspires to his re-election to the Presidency of the Republic.

He stressed that “I am closing this admirable and heroic campaign with a flourish. I have done my best, I feel more and more energetic, healthier, more and more committed.”

“I am prepared for a great victory and I know that our people will do it again: We will win again and the floodgates of a blessed and miraculous time of peace, stability and prosperity will be opened.”

The candidate of the Bolivarian Revolution said that the next few hours must be one of motivation, conscience, discipline, organization, “because peace, tranquility and happiness will reign in Venezuela.”

“We have been loyal to a man, even an ideal one, to a legacy, to a country, we have triumphed over a thousand storms,” he said.
