The vice-president of Regional and Municipal Affairs of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Carmen Meléndez, stressed that the revolutionary forces are united to go to the great battle next July 28, “when we will obtain a perfect victory with all our people.”

“People are overwhelmed in the street, with music, with joy, color, with the official start of this campaign and we can see the smile of our people,” he said.

This was stated by Meléndez, from Sucre Square in Catia, during his participation in the Great March for Victory, in which he maintained that since this Thursday, July 4th, “we put on our boots to go to that triumph that we are building them”.

“Our President is waiting for us and we are going with this joy, strength given to us by our dear Commander Hugo Chávez, who reminds us of this fervor that exists in the streets,” he said.
