This Thursday, July 25, the Homeland's candidate, Nicolás Maduro, emphasized that “we did it again: again on the streets from end to end, all the avenues and highways of the capital of the Republic”, referring to the closing of the campaign of Commander Hugo Chávez, on October 4, 2012.

He stressed that hope is in the street, “I want to bring that spirit here, because everything that I am, everything that will be, everything we have done, we have done by his example, by his legacy, by his presence. Everything has been for you: Infinite Commander Hugo Chávez”.

“Here is your people who have never failed you, who will never fail you,” he said.

“I am very excited and very happy,” he said at the close of the campaign in Caracas, before a massive rally, ahead of the Presidential Election on July 28, in which he aspires to be re-elected to the Presidency of the Republic.

The candidate highlighted the massive attendance of the revolutionary people that flooded various avenues in Caracas, such as Lecuna, Bolivar, through Parque Carabobo, in the Corazón de Jesús sector, Armed Forces, Mexico, Solano, University, among others.

“It's Pueblo in the street saying: Victory, victory, popular victory,” he said.
