This Thursday, July 25, the candidate of the Homeland, Nicolás Maduro, reminded the People of Venezuela, that they have been, are and will be a totally independent, free and sovereign President of the People, “I owe nothing to anyone.”

“I have not been or am a puppet, nor am I anyone's puppet,” he said, while noting that he is accompanied by a team of warriors, “I know how to work as a team and collectively.”

This was stated at the close of the campaign in Caracas, before a massive rally, ahead of the Presidential Election on July 28, in which he aspires to be re-elected to the Presidency of the Republic.

On the other hand, he maintained that without a doubt Commander Hugo Chávez became a father and a teacher for all the people, “and I say more, he was a father and a teacher for Latin America, the Caribbean and the world.”

He assured that he was a father and a teacher for the Peoples of Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Bolivia, “he woke up the spring season”.

“He was my father and he trained me as a teacher, he taught me to love Simon Bolivar, Antonio José de Sucre, Rafael Urdaneta and I became a Bolivarian,” he recalled.
