Caracas: CORPOELEC installed transformer in Los Dos Caminos and repaired network in Las Mercedes

The National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC) carried out repair work this Saturday in the Las Mercedes sector and installed a 750 kVA transformer in the Leoncio Martínez parish of Los Dos Caminos, Caracas, as part of the maintenance work to optimize the electricity supply in the city.

In Los Dos Caminos, state crews assembled, connected and started up the 750 kilovolt equipment. This addition increases the load capacity of the system in the area, allowing it to provide a more stable response to the demand of homes and businesses in the parish.

Simultaneously, the technical staff maintains an operation in Las Mercedes to address faults and carry out appropriate repairs to the distribution network. According to the report, the work is in full swing with the purpose of restoring normal service in the jurisdiction.

These actions are part of the corporation's ongoing maintenance plans in the metropolitan area. The authorities ratified their commitment to meet user requirements and maintain the operability of the infrastructure to ensure the continuity of electricity service in the capital.
