CANTV activated the Aba Ultra, Aba TV GO and IP telephony services at the Wholesale Car Market, located in the Coche parish of the Libertador municipality of Caracas. It also inaugurated an Ultra Zone to provide visitors with access to the Internet via Wi-Fi, by scanning a QR code.

Technological modernization benefits food distributors, retail stores, restaurants and cafés, who now have a fiber optic network to strengthen connectivity and support their daily operations.

During a tour led by the president of CANTV, MG. Iván Rafael Hernández Dala; the Secretary for Economic Development of the Mayor's Office of Caracas, VA. María Elisa Domínguez; and the president of Inmerca, CN. Cruz Pérez Castellanos, the authorities visited the establishment of Gilberto González, president of the Association of Wholesale Car Market Dealers (ASOCOCHE), where they verified the operation of the installed services.

“Thank you for the Aba Ultra service that is reaching our stores, all market partners, dealers and surrounding areas. We thank CANTV for providing us with the opportunity to be connected,” said González.

Representatives of the Victorio Méndez Commune and spokespersons of the eponymous Technical Telecommunications Board (MTT) also participated in the activity, who highlighted the impact of this deployment on communities in the sector.

“We are in our Major Car Market and we want the entire community to be active with the Ultra Zone; with our people we continue to make progress,” said Roxana González, spokeswoman for MTT Victorio Méndez.
