CANTV will bring fiber-optic services to more than 50,000 users in La Guaira

In order to advance the modernization of copper to fiber optic networks in the state of La Guaira, the Venezuelan National Telephone Anonymous Company (CANTV) is carrying out cadastre and construction work for the deployment of GPON technology in the entity, which will bring the Aba Ultra service to more than 50,000 subscribers on the Central Coast.

The information was released by the president of CANTV, M/G Jesús Aldana, during a meeting he held with the governor of La Guaira, Alejandro Terán. The event also provided details on the current situation of the deployment of high-speed Internet service in the parishes of Carlos Soublette, Catia la Mar, Urimare and Maiquetía.

The highest authority of CANTV, together with its management team, also reported attention to more than 33,000 users in the region, through the VenApp of the 1x10 Good Governance system. Among the actions carried out, the repair of faults, installation of new services, change of plans, and other requirements stand out, achieving more than 91% effectiveness in the Guaireña state.

For his part, according to a press release from the telephone company, Governor Terán gave special recognition to M/G Aldana for leading the Blue Force's efforts to guarantee telecommunications services in the entity.
