CANTV presented advances in modernizing its services at CIGED Venezuela 2026

CANTV participated in the 1st International Summit on Public Management and Digital Economy (CIGED) Venezuela 2026, held in Caracas, Maracay and Valencia, where it presented advances in the modernization of its telecommunications services through the expansion of optical fiber.

The agenda of the summit included conferences on digital governance, the application of artificial intelligence in public and business management, public communication, technological infrastructure, human talent training and process optimization.

Eric Beni Flores, president of the organizing committee of CIGED 2026, highlighted the participation of CANTV and noted that technology is key to streamlining government management and improving care for citizens.

For her part, María García Pizarro, general secretary of the Ibero-American Union of Municipalists of Spain, valued the meeting as a space to promote governance and social development. He also highlighted the importance of telecommunications to promote trust, transparency and citizen integration.

The participation of CANTV in this meeting allowed us to share experiences on the modernization of telecommunications and its contribution to the digital transformation of public services.
