CANTV expands fiber optic connectivity at Dr. Luis Razetti Hospital in Tucupita

The Dr. Luis Razetti Hospital Complex in Tucupita, Delta Amacuro state, expanded its connectivity capacity with the laying of more than 2,700 meters of optical fiber, as part of the actions carried out by CANTV within the framework of the “Dr. José Gregorio Hernández” Comprehensive Hospital Recovery Plan.

The areas where these points were installed are the central laboratory, oncology, nephrology, outpatient clinics, X-ray unit, situation room, Human Resources, Maternal and Child Management, technology center and the inpatient care unit.

In addition, an Ultra Zone has been enabled in the waiting room, where users and family members can access the Internet by scanning a QR code.

“Although the healthcare center had already had Aba Ultra, Aba TV GO and IP Telephony services since 2025, the connection points were expanded in response to the requirements identified during an inspection carried out jointly with the Sectorial Vice Presidency of Public Works and Services,” CANTV reported.
