CANTV completes ABA connectivity work in the town of Ortíz in Guárico

Staff from the installation crews of the ABA Ultra service of the Venezuelan National Anonymous Telephone Company (CANTV) carried out a series of actions in order to progressively connect more than 1,000 homes, businesses and public institutions of
the San Francisco de Tiznados parish, Ortíz municipality in the Guárico state.

The president of CANTV, M/G. Jesús Aldana, together with his team of vice-presidents, visited the town to inaugurate the service that offers high-speed Internet, with navigation plans ranging from 60 megs to 1 gig, according to the connectivity needs of users.

According to a press release from the state telephone company, the engineering and construction of the network, using GPON technology, was developed through the laying, fusion and installation of optical fiber. Subsequently, progress was made with a first phase of delivery of the service to homes, businesses and public institutions that serve the inhabitants of this town.

Among the connected institutions, in this first stage, are: Luisa Cáceres Arismendi School, U.E.N Juan Germán Roscio, Type II Popular Office, State Police Command, Prefecture, Concepción Lara Geriatric Hospital, Civil Registry, Social Mission Base.
