The National Anonymous Telephone Company of Venezuela (CANTV), in order to progressively recover internet service for families in San Bernardino, began construction of optical ports in the OPPE 20 urban development in Caracas.

Through its account on the social network Telegram, CANTV said that “the deployment is part of the Venezuela Renace Plan and will allow expanding access to high speed Internet in this capital sector.”

CANTV crews are working to progressively connect San Bernardino users with Aba Ultra, Aba TV GO and IP Telephony services.

On its website, Última Noticias, it points out that after the double earthquake of last June 24, the telecommunications company began a deployment to restore services in the affected areas.

In this regard, CANTV installed four satellite links at the Command Post of the state of La Guaira and enabled a satellite antenna at the headquarters of Fundalanavial, located in the Catia La Mar parish, to facilitate access to the internet service.

They also re-established fiber-optic connectivity at Simón Bolívar de Maiquetía International Airport, guaranteeing high-speed internet in this strategic infrastructure and strengthening communications during recovery efforts.
